Situated in the heart of the Champagne region, the Coquard Company has been making grapepresses since 1924.
It has continually
improved its products - namely through the introduction of
hydraulic systems and the automatization of certain
processes.Thus, tradition and excellent quality have not
excluded innovation.
Indeed, in 1985 Coquard put
the first automatic press with rotating perforated trays
on the market. This was a technological break-through and
yet another step towards quality perfection.
Today Coquard
grape-presses enable their users to attain the best
results regarding grape must.The year 2000 will see the
launch of a new type of press with sloping plates which
was developed seven years ago and will consequently make
the quality of Coquard accessible to the different
wine-growers all over the world.
In addition to the creation of 800 presses already up and
working, there is an active and efficient maintenance
programme throughout the year.
